The following is a Guest post by Chris Jones.
If somebody was to tell you that you could work from home and make money from a very simple, automated yet highly profitable business model online, what would you say?
And yes, the rumours are indeed true.
You can create freedom in both time and financials from home using the Amazon FBA business model. This consists of selling private label products (physical goods) on Amazon FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon).
We are currently living in generation that is revolved around the online industry, i’m pretty sure you and the mass majority will agree with me on this one.
Social media is taking over many peoples lives, let’s face the hard hitting facts people.
In May 2017 alone, there were over 1.9 Billion active monthly users on Facebook.
Definitely something to think about, 1.9 Billion..
The selling on Amazon stuff is forever growing in popularity too, and so is the demand of products that people are looking to purchase. This, is of course fantastic news for the Amazon sellers (just like you and I).
Who wants to work from home + Cash in ever so handsomely? 😉
I can literally hear you shouting out “ME ME MEEE!!” and waking up all of your neighbours, good work.
On a more serious note, calm your booty down and focus in homie. You have some reading to do!
How to sell on Amazon has been a question on many peoples minds over the last few years. Worry not, your not alone!
If you are an avid online shopper who loves to browse the many different options that present themselves online, you my friend are going to absolutely LOVE Amazon FBA! 😉
The stuff you are buying from Amazon more than likely come from private label sellers just like myself.
Meaning, you can do the same and begin to sell to the masses of people searching for products to buy on Amazon every single minute of the day.
Did you hear about when Amazons website went down?
They ended up losing $4.8M after going down for a just 40-minutes!
WHAT THE ACTUAL F!!! 😮
Hopefully this alone opens your eyes up to the enormous potential that selling on Amazon can provide you with.
But if not, let’s keep going! 🙂
This is a seriously powerful business model to get into.
Not only is it fun and exciting, but it is also extremely profitable.
Amazon FBA has been the bread and butter of my lively-hood for the last 21-months now.
The work from home vision that many people have now far from just a dream, it’s so freakin’ real YO!
You and many others can achieve passive income and much more from selling private label products on Amazon FBA (trust me, you will not be disappointed).
The selling on Amazon FBA lifestyle
Another awesome part about getting into Amazon FBA is that you can work from home when doing so, or in your favourite coffee shop or on a beautiful beach in the Caribbean (my personal choice).
It’s your call, seriously.
For those wondering if you can work at home doing this full-time or part-time, that decision is entirely up to you.
Amazon FBA becomes very automated once set up, which has the potential to help you to bring in money on complete autopilot 365 days per year.
Again, this can either be achieved by working full-time or as part of your side hustle.
Welcome to the new age my friend. 🙂
Amazon FBA is life!
Like I said up top, I have been selling on Amazon FBA for the last 21-months now.
And like everybody out there, business and non-business, everybody has a story.
The business model for me was one of true excitement from the very first video I watched on it, it amazed me and lead me into the beginning of my own Amazon business soon after hearing and learning a little about it.
Amazon FBA who, what and where?
Known as Amazon fulfillment to many, and FBA (Amazon FBA) to many more.
Amazon FBA is where your private label products are held, picked, packed, stored, shipped out to customers from and where the customer service takes place for the customers who buy yours products on the Amazon platform.
It’s a weird yet wonderful world, don’t you think? 🙂
The low down is that you do not have to store any inventory in your home or at your office etc..
Amazon FBA essentially takes care of everything for you, including the delivery of the products from their warehouses to the actual customer who has made a purchase through their website.
Pretty cool, I know.
Imagine (soon to become a reality) that your whole online business is pretty much run by Amazon FBA?
How would (will) that make you feel?
I agree, absolutely IN-CRED-IBLE!
You are in control of your Amazon business.
While Amazon FBA helps your business to a great extent to become more automated, you still have to hustle and grind in order to help things flow properly, and to achieve the level of success you want when selling on Amazon (which I hope are HUGE goals YO)!
You are also in control of your Amazon listing, which includes your products price, title, key features, product images, and many other marketing and promotional components.
The above is where the exposure is going to come for your private label product, so be sure to pay close attention when creating a kick-ass and high converting Amazon listing.
If you would like a little more information on how to do this, drop by my Facebook profile. This is where I put out the majority of my content! 🙂
Amazon allow you full control and management of your PPC (Pay-Per-Click) advertising campaigns too, which is going to heighten your marketing efforts for your Amazon listing. By doing this properly, it will help to bring in more targeted customers to buy your product.
BINGO. 🙂
Party pooper alert: Please do not think that Amazon FBA is the holy grail into achieving instant and overnight success from selling on Amazon, because it won’t.
Amazon FBA Vs. Amazon Merchant
There are two ways that you can sell things on Amazon:
This way..
1. Amazon FBA
(this is my preferred option)
As explained above, Amazon fulfilment manages the bulk of the logistics for you (yes please).
And then theres this way..
2. Amazon Merchant
(Fulfilled By Merchant)
Unlike FBA Amazon, Amazon Merchant is where you will pretty much take care of everything yourself that Amazon FBA would do for it’s sellers.
This comes down to personal preference and amount of work you want to spend IN your Amazon business, and not ON it (unless you have people working for you who can handle this all for you, of course).
Personally, I wanted to create as much freedom in my life as I possibly could.
This is why I was so attracted towards the FBA business model.
One benefit with Amazon Merchant is that your Amazon fees will be significantly lower, this can have a positive impact on your bottom line.
Amazon FBA fees CAN be high, but this covers all of the work that they do for you. Which to me, is worth the added costs.
Think before you act here people, do your homework and then make a decision based on what is best for your business and yourself.
The Amazon selling reality
Capitalising on this superb opportunity now will help you to work from home from the beauty of just your laptop (or desktop)!
The fact of the matter is that you can bring out one single private label product on Amazon FBA and sell it for $30 (sale price).
With minimal ground work, you could get that product live on Amazon and making over 10-15+ sales per day (and MUCH more).
If the product only cost you $8 from a private label supplier to buy, and FBA Amazon fees are only $7, the profit is around 50% per each and every sale you make.
Hopefully this short and simple calculation can help you to see how easy selling on Amazon can actually be, especially if you are looking to create more of that laptop lifestyle style of living.
Amazon listing optimisation + the importance of
I always look at an Amazon listing as your own website storefront.
One shot to convert viewers into actual paying customers.
You have many sections to fill in here, and all of them are of great importance to help your product get seen by the masses of people searching for similar products to yours on Amazon.
Please be careful with adding in too many keywords to your Amazon listing, Amazon will see this as spammy and so will your potential customers.
Write your Amazon listing content with the aim of making it sound and read as appealing as possible without going into full blown salesman mode.

Selling on Amazon security
Please be careful when looking into buying any products or reading any information about certain online businesses, especially Amazon FBA.
There are people on the internet providing information that will only land you in trouble, so be sure to trust the people you are learning from and potentially buying and investing your valuable time into.
If you would like to connect with me more on all of this, please feel free to say hey on my Facebook profile.
Work from home + become an Amazon FBA superstar
Hopefully you are starting to see how your work from home dream can soon become an actual reality.
Let me just explain the process of selling on Amazon a little more before clocking off.

2. Contact a private label product supplier
3. Request a sample for from you supplier
4. Set up your Amazon seller account
5. Design a logo and label for your private label product
6. Confirm and pay for your mass order from supplier

Wait up you gorgeous thing you, I still have some more words for you to digest. 😉
The unspoken truths about selling on Amazon
(enjoy the bonus content homies)
Since starting my own Amazon adventure up back in May 2015 (first sale on August 16th), I have began to slowly notice the changes that Amazon have been making to the platform and business model without giving out much information to it’s sellers.
I have honestly watched the Amazon platform go from some extremities to others (such as terms of service changes and so on..) in less than 24 hours, literally.
The Amazon seller community was hit with pretty big news back in October 2016 when Amazon decided to launch their new policy for the ways product reviews are published on their website.
Personally, I loved the decision Amazon made here and support it fully.
You can read more about the review policy change here.
Since Amazon are the owners of their platforms and the top dogs who are running the show, your company and your products that are up and selling are on rented land. Straight up.
You have to comply with the terms of service and rules that Amazon put in place otherwise you can wave your lushest green and extremely profitable patch of grass it’s goodbyes and start looking for another platform where you can get away with breaking the rules on.
That might be tough to find mind, so best of luck with that.
This leaves me with the question, what further changes are Amazon going to make?
When are they going to make them?
Why?
And how?
These questions fall into each Amazon sellers mind, trust me.
Smart entrepreneurs and their strategic methods used selling on Amazon have helped them to generate millions of dollars worth of revenue and have been able to live a very luxurious lifestyle due to the potential of what selling on Amazon has done for them.
Please don’t think for a second that you can not to do the same, because you can.
It becomes a very much rinse and repeat process after you have successful launched your first private label product as an Amazon seller.
The incredible thing about this business model is that you hear and see extraordinary results from ordinary people, just like you and I (even though I believe we were all put on this planet to be superstars)! 😉
Selling on Amazon has the potential of making amounts of money that even doctors would be envious of.
“The best time to get started selling on Amazon was 5 years ago. The second best time to get started is right now.”
The Amazon business model is forever growing in popularity with new sellers entering the marketplace to get a nice slice of that success pie but it does not mean that you cannot do exactly the same, because you can.
#ZonLifeZinger: For anybody looking to begin would be to focus on standing out from the crowd (your competition) in terms of creating a much higher quality product, adding a unique and exciting element to your private label product and also to dismiss the battle of competing on price (sell at a premium or a cheaper price that the other products in your market).
I do not advise making a swift transition from selling on eBay or/and any other online sale platforms and thinking your the bees knees and think that this process will be a breeze, because you might soon be faced with the harsh realities of all business models can be very different, especially when it comes to e-commerce.
The cool conclusion
In order to make it as an Amazon seller, you will need to focus on the below:
- Product selection – (This is top priority for people starting out)
- Product differentiation
- Communication and negotiation with your product suppliers
- Back end management of your business (TAX, VAT + other legal structures)
- Long term vision (not quitting when things don’t go right)
- Start up capital (the amount will depend on what product you choose + cost price from supplier)
You will want to maintain maximum focus and long term vision for your Amazon business.
You can have all of the money in the world and the best product ready to roll with, but if your focus is off, your success will be quickly diminished. So stay on top of things and remain focused homie! 🙂

Further thoughts + Amazon actions
The Amazon algorithm has definitely made a few changes over the last few years but the most recent I have noticed is that their algorithm is storing much more historical data of sellers and their sales on their platform from late 2016 to present.
This means that gone are the days (maybe for the time being but who actually knows) of giving away a large amount of discounted products in a short period of time (within a few hours of launch) to spike the algorithm to get a bump in BSR (Best-Seller Ranking).
While this works to some extent and may seem hypocritical of me back tracking on what I just said, the important fact of sticking to the terms of service that Amazon have set in stone are essential for building a long term business (Amazon know when you are trying to play their algorithm).
Amazon notice all of the going ons when it comes to ways in increasing sales and spiking BSR so don’t think for a second that you can get away with some of the actions that you are currently in potential planning of. Amazon will straight up call you out and potentially shut down your $hizz.
Historical data has been a big focus over the last few months of 2017, which means giving away products over the course of 5-7+ days of a few units per day (I shoot for 5 giveaway per day for 7-10 days straight), which works great for getting your BSR to where you wish to see it starting out selling on Amazon. This should get a nice flow of sales going for your product starting out, just don’t go crazy with the giveaways thats all.
#ZonLifeZinger: We really do not know what further changes are to come from Amazon and when they will happen, so the best thing to do is remain focused on your business and stay up to date with all of the changes when they do arise.
Okay, who’s ready to finish strong? Okay, let’s do this!
Taking home the Amazon gold
I hope this has been helpful to you and that you will take some sort of action upon the Amazon FBA business model that I have briefly explained above.
Work from home and fulfil your dreams of becoming free in both time and financials.
The FBA Amazon business model has been one of true greatness for myself my journey online, I hope it can become as successful for you as it has been for me.

I am now going to get a few videos done on related topics to Amazon FBA and will be posting them on my Facebook soon (and also a special upload on Brendan’s YouTube channel in the next week, so stay tuned for that one ;)).
#ZonLifeZinger: If there is one last piece of advise I could give anybody looking to get into FBA Amazon, it would be to learn as much as you can on the business model before diving in headfirst. Also, speaking to people who have been there, done it, and who are currently living and breathing the Amazon FBA lifestyle.
Never be afraid to reach out to anybody (myself included) and ask for additional information.

Say YO to me here.
I promise I won’t bite, much.. 😉
Thank you so much for taking the time out to read this blog, I truly appreciate and value every second of your time. I look forward to hearing from you and speaking with you very soon!
Here is your FREE Amazon FBA guide too, enjoy!
Before you head off, I would just like to ask you a question:
If you could sell any product on Amazon, what would that product be? And why?
Comment your answer below! 🙂
Oh hey there, my name’s Chris Jones. I’m 25 years young, live in a small town within the UK and sell some products on Amazon FBA!
In short, I teach people how to build their Amazon businesses and income online.
I have mentored and touched the hearts of over 500 happy clients in the last 12 months. Which to me, is still very hard to believe. I now thrive on helping individuals set up their very own online empires and earn a full time income from doing.
The answer to your question is no. Life has not always treated me so generously.
Before I started my online adventure, I was an overweight, unhappy and lonely person who thought the only escape from reality was a good helping of alcohol and drugs.
I was lost and in one of the worst places in my life than I had ever been in before.
At the time, I truly believed I lacked everything.
But looking back, the only thing I was missing out in my life was fulfillment.
Since starting my own private label products business on Amazon back in May 2015, I have been able to skyrocket my income, improve my lifestyle and become someone who helps others do the same.
If you are a total newbie to all of this, that’s ok.
Most people haven’t the slightest clue when starting out but once they learn the steps, the make a transition just like I did myself during the process.
Like I always like to say; “Every teacher was once a student.”
We live in a world where creating your dreams online is possible. I hope I can further motivate and inspire you to achieve everything you want to in your life, and much much more!
