“Instead of waiting for the next vacation, why not build a life that you don’t need to escape from?”
Seth Godin asked this question years ago.
While I agree with him (most of the time), sometimes a vacation is exactly what’s needed.
My intention was to stay home until September, but the travel bug bites again.
This Sunday I’m leaving for London.
In fact, my plan is to travel until Christmas.
But who knows… I could be gone longer.
Whether travelling is your passion or not, live the life you want.
Take this internet thing seriously. There’s no better decision I’ve made than to become an online entrepreneur.

An Insider’s Look at the Traffic Numbers
This blog is going down.
It’s not that I dislike blogging.
The opposite is true; I often enjoy spouting off my thoughts.
The problem is that blogging is one of my least efficient uses of my time.
When I create a YouTube video, it creates far more exposure than a single blog post.
Tim Ferriss says to focus on the tasks that provide the biggest impact.
That’s YouTube publishing.
This month you’re going to see that the blog traffic has gone down, while my YouTube channel is on the rise.
Here’s a look at the blog stats:
A noticeable decline from last month.
On the other hand, let’s see my video exposure.
YouTube traffic stats:
That’s an increase!!
And July is getting even better.
You’ll see that in the next report, though.
Overall, I’m prioritizing my time on YouTube in the next couple months.
I am now generating about $1,500 per month from Adsense revenue. And with a focus on my YouTube channel, that income should continue to grow.
I Know What You Did Last Month
That’s not true.
I know what I did.
Firstly, I created a blog post on How to Start a Blog.
How fitting!
My next post was “The Secret” to Making Money on the Internet
What’s the secret?
… You may ask.
Well, why not give it a click and find out?!
My YouTube Channel published four new videos last month.
The first one talked about How to Get Rich
Robert Kiyosaki became famous with his book: Rich Dad Poor Dad
Some criticize his simplicity.
I think for a basic understanding of wealth building, his words are valuable.
The next video was How to Write a Kindle Book in 20 Minutes
This strategy is powerful.
You can publish full Kindle Books in 20 minutes.
It does matter that you already have content, though. This shortcut only works if you’re compiling stuff that you’re already published elsewhere.
The third video was How to Create an Online Business while Travelling the World
As you’d expect, this was the leading favourite for the month.
People love hearing about making money while you travel.
Almost as much as the idea of earning while you sleep.
Don’t get sucked in to the idea, and prevent yourself from taking action.
This does work, but it takes some keyboard grease on your end.
The final video was The Law of Attraction is Bullsh!t
The irony of this video is that I’m a firm believer in Think and Grow Rich.
The idea that your thoughts impact your reality is true.
My problem with “the law of attraction” is the surrender that thoughts are all you need.
You will not become successful by thinking your way into it.
Manifestation happens when you act on your high frequencies.
The Income Numbers — What You Really Want to See
Here goes…
The dollars and cents 🙂

Total Expenses = $248
Expenses are the same as last month.
Was it a Good Month?
Let’s do the calculations.
$8,768.68 – $248
Grand Total = $8520.68
That’s decent.
Not my personal best — but happy.
The last few months have been spent in my home town. While work has been done, it’s really time to go on another adventure.
Europe is exactly what I need to get the energy flowing again.
Nick Woodman founded GoPro after going on a surfing vacation.
When you ask Nick in interviews, he attributes a lot of his company’s success with that trip.
Oftentimes, exercising your passion can raise your level of business capacity.
Especially when it comes to creative endeavours.
Google Inc. and Apple even force their employees to take “play breaks.”
My expectation is that business will take a hit the next few months. This decision to travel instead of grind out dollars may sound wonky to the ambitious reader.
I strongly believe that this “play interruption” will have positive impacts in my future.
If you have the budget, I always recommend investing in vacations for results.
Of course, I’m gonna have some fun, too 🙂
My Future Plans + Adventures
It’s July 8th, and I’ve already created FIVE YouTube videos.
The bump in Adsense income this month has encouraged me to publish more.
I look forward to sharing these with you next month.
The travels are starting in London, England.
After that, the plan is to see Prague, Athens, Rome and Bologna.
Everything right now is tentative.
But I expect many European countries to intersect my crosshairs.
I’ll keep you posted!
As always, thanks for reading.
Make it happen!! 🙂
