An epic month for travelling and business.
January started with pizza in Italy, and ended with tacos in Mehico.

I used to work at a restaurant for $9/hour… Then I became a high school teacher.
While the long hours and low pay was character building, I am grateful to have designed a life with more freedom.
In the past, I have coached many people to incredible results.
I know longer offer this service…

The traffic numbers this month — Calm + Steady
I’ll be honest with you…
I expected more traffic out of January.
In last month’s income report, I said the launch of Five Figure Freedom would likely bring a bunch of new fans to my channel.
It didn’t… Lol.
Here’s the traffic stats last month:
Not only did I not grow this month… I actually lost some traffic.
*FACEPALM*
Fortunately, it’s only about a 5% decrease.
The videos that I’ve created lately are a bit more advanced, and don’t cater to the general public.
The first one was on How to Get More Instagram Followers
I was hoping for a catch with this one…
My other social media videos are doing really well.
The one for Pinterest, Twitter and Tumblr all have good traction in YouTube.
Too bad… Maybe I’ll have some more luck with Instagram next time around.
The video is actually good, though.
What I’m teaching in that video is what’s increased my own Instagram account.
With almost no work involved, it’s grown 1,500 followers within a month.
Not bad for a minimal time investment.
The next video I created was an interview with Justin Spencer
Justin and I launched a course called Five Figure Freedom.
In FFF, Justin teaches us how to build a ‘five figure’ email marketing business from scratch.
He’s made over a million dollars online… and definitely knows what he’s talking about.
This interview was 45 minutes long and covered lots of stuff.
Mostly about mindset and skills to take it to the next level.
After that… I created a video on How to Make Money Online in 2017
I created this video in response to my freedom friends.
If you haven’t heard already, I have a FB group called the “Friends of Freedom”
In that group, we all help each other grow our businesses.
In one of the posts, I asked the group members what they wanted me to cover.
From those responses, I created this video with my take.
And the last video, is on how to make money with email marketing.
This is not an easy subject.
And the views to the video reflect that this is not a topic for the masses.
It might be my most important video ever created, though.
There’s nothing more crucial than learning how to sell.
You can get all the traffic in the world, but if you can’t turn those visitors into dollars, you will always be facing an uphill battle.

What about my near death experience??
While enjoying pizza in Italy… I ran into some problems.
I heard beforehand that Napoli is an edgy city. Lots of gangs and street violence.
While in Naples, I decided to try and get some work done.
That means pyjamas, take home food and a relaxing day at the house.
Relaxing right??
Unfortunately, some Italians in Naples had other plans.
My neighbour across the street saw me without pants on. This was a dire insult (for some reason) to him and his friend. Whom both immediately decided this was worthy of a beatdown.
They came running across the street with baseball bats, and smacked at the iron bars protecting my windows.
Out of a lack of options, the only thing I could think of was to call my landlord.
His response was that “my lack of pants was deserving of a violent confrontation”
Being from Canada, I could not relate.
I very rarely intend to show people my weiner, but I’ve never seen that kind of response from it. Lol.
Despite the AMAZING pizza in Naples, that experience was all I needed to move on to Florence and Venice.

After Italy… it was off to mehico.
My Mexican senorita and my friends — What Latin America is all about…
Of all the regions in the world, Latin America is my favourite.
The people are so friendly, and the food is delicious.
I could eat Guacamole and tacos for days. In fact… that’s exactly what I did.
Mexico started off with my Canadian friends:
We had a party filled week together.
After they left, I was looking for some company.
Not typically into the whole “one night stand” or Tinder scene.
However, I did want company, and am VERY attracted to Mexican girls.
One thing lead to another, and I spent an amazing few days with this beautiful soul.
We had so much fun together, I even got invited to her friend’s local super bowl party.
I was surprised… they care about Tom Brady in Mexico.
They also really care about Tequila.
Not getting into politics here… but I’m really surprised there is such American hate towards Mexico.
For the most part, with few exceptions, Mexicans have always treated me like one of their amigos.

I left Mehico with love in my heart.
No matter where I travel… Latin America, you will always be my home.
Now off to Nicaragua… but that’s a conversation for next month.

This is a good $3k increase from last month’s income report.
Not a bad month…
Other than launch Five Figure Freedom, it was a pretty casual 31 days.
It may take awhile to get your marketing going… but trust me, it is worth it.
Once you have passive income rolling in, you do not need to work hard for money anymore.
Most people work their whole lives to earn a modest living.
Why not set something up that WORKS FOR YOU?
Remember this quote always:
Don’t let small minds convince you that your dreams are too big.
Anybody with half a brain could make this work.
