My 30 Day Experiment with Instant Article Wizard 3
PS. If you want to take a sneak peek at this software in action. There is a very revealing video that can be found at the Instant Article Wizard homepage.
This program was created by the well known Jonathan Leger, who is also known for The Best Spinner and Instant Article Factory. In my personal opinion, Instant Article Factory does not add as much value as TBS or IAW. But, Instant Article Wizard may be the very best of what Jonathan has to offer. Which is saying quite a lot considering the success of The Best Spinner. I’ve enjoyed using Instant Article Wizard so much, and this write up is long overdue. This experiment process will take you through the pros and cons of this potentially powerful piece of equipment.
Expectations – This program does not offer instant success. If you’re looking for a software program with an easy button, you will not find it here. Or anywhere for that matter. It doesn’t exist. Believe me, I’ve looked everywhere. Every article creation software program will require some work. Some programs require more than others. And in many cases, a program will actually cause a lot more harm than good. This is not one of those programs. Instant Article Wizard can save you a ton of time, and can help you find topical information. You will need to put some time in, but if used properly, this program can seriously reduce the amount of time it takes to create an article.
What Instant Article Wizard Does?
The way this program works is simple. You type in the keyword of the particular niche that you want to focus on, and IAW will take relevant snippets of information from all over the internet.
What this data collecting allows the user to do, is simply arrange the snippets of information into a logical structure.
For example, if you type in the keyword “paintball” You’ll get a bunch of relevant sentences and paragraphs about the topic paintball.
But the paragraphs that you get are usually focusing on a particular aspect of ‘paintball.’
For example, the ‘paintball’ search will give you loads of information about…
paintball guns
paintball injuries
paintball tips
paintball bazookas
paintball handguns
Etc etc etc…
So your job, is to arrange the data so that you can create instant articles with very little effort. Again, the work is arranging. But I would much rather be arranging, than creating from scratch.
Benefits
The benefits are two-fold.
One- You get an in depth look at the hot topics of the particular niche that you’ve chosen. If there’s a bunch of information on paintball bazookas. Well, now you know that this niche in particular loves content on… you guessed it, paintball bazookas. There is certainly a bunch of value here about interesting topics you would never think about.
Two- And this is the big one. You can almost instantly create new unique articles on your niche, simply by arranging the generated information together. The amount of ‘free’ or ‘instant’ articles is near endless. It’s simply taking all of the important information on the entire internet, and allowing you to construct your own article on topics that already have a high demand.
Lastly, lets get back to the unique part of the equation. Every single article that you create with this program will be considered unique to the search engines.
Why?? Aren’t we using duplicate content?
Of course we are. But only small amounts from each source. An article has to be 33% unique from any article that already exists in order to avoid the duplicate content penalty. Well, you are only going to be taking a sentence or two from each source. There is absolutely no way that your article will duplicate any article on the internet. After all, your article will have about 20 SEPARATE sources by the time its fully formed. Talk about uniqueness.
Week 1 – Niche Research
This is the research intensive portion of my thirty day experiment. During this process, I hand picked 5 separate niches that had reasonable search engine competition. I set up a wordpress site for each niche with an exact match domain.
For example, if my niche was Scuba Diving. Then I would try to register a domain ScubaDiving.com. But since that is not always (or often) possible on the internet these days. I added prefixes or suffixes. So these sites turned into something like this…. ScubaDivingTips.com
I used keyword research to pick my 5 niches. I’m not going to give any of them away. For obvious reasons. (I am having good success with 4 our of 5 of these chosen niches.)
If you want to pick a niche that’s profitable. I highly recommend using google adwords keyword tool. This free service is an absolute godsend to internet marketers. All the information is given up freely to anyone. Try and find a niche that generates more than 2000 global searches per month. And then, search the competition for your keyword by analyzing the amount of backlinks each competitor has.
Once you have your niche, then you need to find information about it. No need to use any other program. IAW works perfectly for this step of the process. Simply type in your keyword into Instant Article Wizard, and skim through the generated articles. From this information, you can quickly see what topics are hot in this niche.
Why not just create an article staight off the bat?
You can. If you already have an idea of what you want to write about, then this is a fine strategy. However, if you know very little about the niche you’ve chosen, then attempting an article with out research could turn out very, very bad. You want your article to flow coherently, but if you have no idea what you’re talking about, neither will the readers of your article. Take a little time to do research, and the writing process will be a lot easier. Trust me.
Alright, time to get cracking!
Week 2-3 – Article Creation
So, you’ve found the topics in your niche that are in high demand. Time to start creating your own articles with superhuman speed.
Depending on the amount of content available, I can usually get enough material to write about 20-30 articles in a couple of hours. Seriously.
Instant Article Wizard just makes it so easy. All the information is right in front of you. Literally all you have to do is make it fit together.
But since I am doing this experiment with 5 separate niches, all of which I want to gain considerable ranking. I am going to need a whole ton of articles about these niches. So let’s say about 50 articles per niche.
Two weeks to do 5 separate niches worth of content. I’m looking at about 250 articles in 14 days. So about 15-20 articles per day. Or about 1 hour of using IAW each day.
50 articles per niche was my original goal for two weeks. I never did count how many articles I actually threw together. Some niches had well over 50 created articles. Probably more like 70-80. I would guess that I had at least 50 for each niche which is great. Now I need a way to distribute these many articles.
Week 4 – Article Distribution
So I have my massive influx of unique articles, but I need somewhere to submit them all. Most marketers agree that it is better to diversify your article submissions. You do not want to submit them all to the same place, because it is better to have more domains pointing to your site.
In fact, some marketers even go so far as to say that multiple backlinks from a single domain only count as one link. I do not think this theory is true. There is probably some value in having several ezine articles backlinks, or any other authority source. But I will agree that the value goes down with the amount of backlinks from the source. So, each addittional backlink will be worth less and less. For the big directories, you will still want to submit several articles, but as the expression goes, “do not put all your eggs in one basket”
Here’s a great page that lists the Top 50 Article Directories to submit to. These sites are ranked according to traffic, alexa rating and page rank. A very valuable source of information. I highly recommend hitting every article directory on this list.
Many people will be shocked that I have an entire week devoted to article submission. This is due to the massive quantity of articles that I was able to create in a couple weeks time. Submitting 250 articles takes a while. And yes, there is software out there that will do this process for you, but failures and faulty submissions happen too often for my liking. So I prefer to submit to directories manually. I almost exclusively use the top 50 list. And hit the highest authority sites as much as possible.
Takes a while, but it is more than worth it.
