I tell my students all the time “you need to fail, or you won’t get anywhere”
There’s a huge reluctance to actually put ourselves out there. And believe me, I get it. Nobody wants their stuff to be seen as useless, or worse: laughable!
You should see the first YouTube videos I ever created – they’re terrible.
Theory, and knowledge, without action, will get you nowhere.
The market will test and teach you better than any book.
Yes, the knowledge is necessary.
After all – blind action is just plain stupid.
Know what you’re doing…. BUT!
Courage is what you need to grow a YouTube channel.
- People are going to laugh.
- They’ll call you fat.
- Say you’re stupid.
… I’ve been called everything from dumb to a F#CK!NG A$$hole
The territory can feel ruthless.
In reality, it’s usually pathetic. Most commenters are dealing with their own insecurities, and need a medium to unleash their feelings.
Move on, and keep publishing.
More than ever before, YouTube is an outstanding opportunity to build a tribe of loyal followers. Everyday people are building channels, and making job replacement income within a year.
My YouTube channel is now over 11,000 subscribers, and it keeps growing on autopilot.
Even though 11k subscribers sounds like not a lot. This channel still makes me $2k+/month.
The reality is getting YouTube subscribers is only HALF the battle.
The other half is making money.
Easily just as important.
Throwing up ads on videos is the obvious choice. BUT it’s NOT the most profitable way to go.
You need to learn my advanced ways of monetizing a YouTube video.
Don’t worry “advanced” does not mean it’s difficult.
In fact, these last two methods are ludicrously easy. They’re only advanced because not many people are using them. Or even know about them.
Here’s how to monetize a YouTube channel:
Just by spending about 10 minutes of your time on each video, you can easily make $2k/month with YouTube.
I create these videos part time. Whenever I have some spare time, and I feel like it, I’ll make a YouTube video. I’ll slap on one (or a couple) of these monetization methods. And then I’ll grow my channel.
Even with this part time, inconsistent action, I’ve still got results.
And you can too.
It’s just about taking continuous imperfect action.
That’s a slogan that Mario Brown uses in all his courses. And it make a lot of sense.
Your first step is to become comfortable with getting in front a camera.
And honestly, that’s 95% of whether you’ll be successful.
Taking action is an unstoppable force in marketing.
So many of us are afraid to do it. The one’s that do become industry leaders.
Make it happen!
