Here I am paddle boarding in Lisbon, Portugal.
Capturing a moment of peace and love.
August 2016, was a month filled with adventures, anxieties and the human journey of living an imperfectly beautiful life.
Grateful to live with abundance and fear.
This month had some moving parts behind the scenes. Not a lot was released to the public, but I will share with you what I am up to.
It was a record month for business income and YouTube traffic. And overall was one of the most educational four weeks of my life.
What You’ll Hear About This Month:
- The Traffic Numbers
- Dancing with Fear
- My Adventures in Barcelona and Portugal
- How to Make a Quick $500 or More Per Week
- The Income Numbers
Traffic Numbers — YouTube Exploding
We’re looking at a 20.06% increase in traffic.
Rock on!
And the best part is that I only created one new video in August.
The reason for the massive growth is videos created in July.
This one video has over 21,000 views:
The lesson here is that people always want to know how to EASILY make money.
I also created videos on personal development.
Like the one on how to overcome fear.
It has 460 views. LOL!
If you don’t want to proverbially beat your head against the wall, give the people what they want.
Here are the YouTube stats:
Awesome!
The only video I created this month is on:
“how to make $500 per week in a few minutes per day”
Pretty powerful stuff.
Again with the theme of making money EASILY.
The video actually lives up to that promise.
Arbitrage (topic in-video) is not something I pursue regularly. But for people looking for some easy start-up cash, it’s a great strategy to get some money incoming.
Dancing with Fear in Paradise
“If we are brave enough often enough, we will fall.”
– Brene Brown
Last month’s income report focused on overcoming fear.
I think this topic should be discussed further.
When you see the highlight reel of my travel pictures, the dangerous assumption is that life can be mastered.
Or for anyone who’s accomplished success in their field…
…the end result often looks predictable and easy. <– Remember, people love “easy”
While some people claim that fear can be eliminated completely, a more honest approach is to accept that fear is inevitable.
Success is learning to dance with your fear.
What’s scaring you right now?
- Being your own boss.
- Travelling the world.
- Ending a bad relationship.
Overcoming fear is critical to your happiness.
“The most common regret of older people is that they didn’t live the life they wanted, and instead lived the life that was expected of them.”
Uncover your fears and dance with them!
Quick Glance at my Travels through Barcelona and Portugal
Let’s start with Barcelona…
This quickly became my favourite european destination.
Although a part of Spain, this country is actually Catalonian.
It’s normal in Catalonian culture to have a daily nap. They call it an afternoon siesta, and restaurants literally shut down to accommodate this popular pastime.
Most locals stay up till 3am, and enjoy a vibrant nightlife.
Here’s the daytime:
This beautiful architecture was only a block away from my AirBnB.
That’s only scratching the surface of Barcelona.
Sights are everywhere.
Take this famous viewpoint, for example:
Pretty nice, right?
But aside from the stellar buildings and neighbourhoods, Barcelona is a location for good times.
They instigate these moments with festivals throughout the summer.
Luckily for me, I caught the Gracias Festival in August.
… And also met some friends along the way.
The drink of choice was mojitos.
We had SEVEN of them in about four hours.
Easily one of my favourite days in Europe.
But check out the festival:
Every other street had some sort of theme. Whether that was film or aliens or pirates.
Excitement was literally around every corner.
The best part of Barcelona (for me) is the beach, though.
Not only a nice place to take a dip.
Also features some really cool restaurants and attractions along the shore.
What about Lisbon?
Honestly, I spent most of Lisbon dancing and enjoying the nightlife.
Met a really cool friend named Filipa.
This was us before heading to the disco:
My dance moves were a little rusty, but she played along and brought me out of my shell.
Great person. You get to meet some really cool people while travelling.
So that’s it!
August in Barcelona and Portugal.
Next month is going to be a return to Thailand 🙂

WOOHOO!!
The irony is that I barely worked at all this month.
Too busy having fun while meeting new awesome people.
Imagine what could be accomplished with some more time at the keyboard.
Actually, most of what I worked on this month is still private.
I’m creating a product called Zero Hour Work Days
Still in development. It will be launching soon, though.
